FAQs on X-1R Engine Treatment

We write about the X-1R Engine Treatment quite often and so, get a lot of questions about it. Here’s a bunch of frequently asked questions that would make your (and our) life much easier, and your car much smoother!

What is X-1R Engine Treatment?

It’s a liquid synthetic metal goodness  for your engine that makes its insides glide with less friction. The solution is non-hazardous, non-flammable and doesn’t harm our good earth.

Is X-1R Engine Treatment compatible with all engine oils?

Yup. It is compatible with other synthetic or mineral-based lubricants and additives. Goodness knows what the condition of your vehicle is prior to using X-1R products, but the Engine Treatment will protect and, we’ll bet you, outperform other additives in the market that promises to reduce friction; thus, extending the life of your car engine.

Why do I need to use X-1R Engine Treatment?

Little do you (and many others) know, ALL oils – synthetic or mineral – deteriorates over time, forming sludge and collecting other contaminants which will impede engine performance and even cause damage to it. X-1R additives treat the metal (it’s proven by science) and not the oil. X-1R’s space technology has been formulated to not just extend engine life, but to also improve performance and fuel economy, while protecting your engine from dirt, carbon deposits and sludge caused by synthetic and mineral, molybdemum(moly) and PTFE (Teflon) based oil blends.

Will using X-1R Engine Treatment void my warranty?

Nope. Manufacturers usually recommend a specific grade of lubricant for the vehicle model based on the API rating (American Petroleum Institution). The brand doesn’t matter, to them, as long as you adhere to the recommended rating. So, as long as you use the proper API-rated fluid, the warranty is still valid. Besides, X-1R is not on any void list out there.

How do I use X-1R Engine Treatment?

In all average-sized cars, RV’s, 4WD’s, high cc motorbikes and light trucks. Just add one bottle of 240ml X-1R Engine Treatment for up to 5 litres of oil; for higher oil capacity engines, add the Engine Treatment at 5% to the total oil volume.
