A video of a woman smashing her her own car’s window and windscreen has gone viral recently on X and TikTok. The best part? The family joined her soon after to smash windows around the car.
The woman hammered away at the windscreen with a rock as the repossessors recorded the encounter outside a house.
“This is the fruit of others, the fruit of the owner, understand,” she said, referring to the vehicle that she was damaging.
The agents simply agreed with her and continued recording.
According to the post, she had not paid the car loan for 8 months and was lashing out during the repossession.
Other people, presumably family members, then emerge from the household to smash more windows and panels on the car with various implements.
According to the “detectives” on X, the car was actually parked outside before the repo-men came to tow her car away.
She drove it into the house and they continued to try to tow her car away. It would explain the excessive damage to her front bumper.
In a now deleted video, the woman can be seen trying to ram into the tow truck.
Further in the comments, user @nuralkmalnaim who claimed to be working for the tow company, said that the lady did not in fact pay her car loan and that her father, that can be seen in the video smashing the car windows with a lug wrench, was the guarantor for the loan.
In another update by a (slightly) more reputable source, the tow truck had actually taken the car out and the woman actually put the car in reverse and drove it back into the house causing the damage to the bumper.
But if that’s the case, how did she manage to reverse her car, since the wheels would be locked and the car lifted. It’s a front wheel drive vehicle, that’s not how it works.
Well, no matter the truth of the matter, smashing a car, any car, is not encouraged and we do not condone it here.
