ZEROTOLOSE Go-Kart Enduro Challenge 2014

24 Hours of Le Mans it was not, but the ZEROTOLOSE Go-Kart Enduro Challenge attracted a crowd willing to wake up eary on the same Sunday morning. Although this endurance race did not involve high-powered race cars, the back-to-basics Go-Kart Enduro challenge had all of its 22 available slots filled.

After the qualifying, the ZEROTOLOSE Enduro challenge kicked off with a Le Mans-like start, with the first drivers, instead of the typical standing start, running to and climbing into their karts to start the race.

The 80cc karts may not be that powerful, but they did not disappoint, no siree – it was neck-to-neck action from the start to the finish line. Diverse driving styles kept it exciting, some being “smooth operators” and some prefering bumper-to-bumper action. After two hours of intense racing, the race finally ended with kart #20, driven by Famili Gangster, claiming victory with 102 laps in the bag.
