VW Beetle Turns into a Dung Beetle at TRX Mall as Pipe Bursts in Carpark
TikToker eyerv shared a video of what looked like sewage water falling on her car at TRX Mall recently.
In the video she describes reaching the carpark in the mall and smelling an awful stench before finding her car showered with brown water.
TRX Mall has responded to the incident saying that they will provide a deep clean to the cars affected by the leak and assured Malaysians that the pipe that broke was a food waste pipe.
We don’t know about you, but we’ve never heard of a “food waste pipe” in any mall, establishment, or restaurant.
How would that even work?
Simply pour all your food waste down a network of pipes and pray that it all goes down?
To date, the mall has not made a public statement regarding the pipe but user eyerv has given a follow up to the video.
In it she mentioned the car park attendant warned her “not to make the incident viral” and offered her a free cleaning.
The attendant had to go into the car so some of the liquid made it into the car. The wash was a quick one at 30 minutes only.
After the video went viral the mall management reached out to her and offered one free car wash a week for a whole year!
TRX also asked her to take down the previous video but she declined.
So is this just a case of crappy luck or should the mall be held responsible? What should the mall have done?
More than that, who’s going to take responsibility for that once beautiful now soiled VW Beetle?
