Czinger Vehicles has shared details of the 21C hybrid hypercar ahead of its public debut at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show this March. The unusual Czinger 21C (pronounced Zinger) shows off jet-like lines from all directions.
The Los-Angeles-based company says that the car is a hybrid with two high-output electric motors at the front connected to a mid-mounted 2.9-litre V8, with a mind-blowing max rev of 11,000rpm. Together, they generate a whopping 1,250hp in total.
This makes getting from 0 to 100 km/h achievable in a mere 1.9 seconds and a standing quarter-mile covered in 8.1 seconds. It goes on to 186mph in 15 seconds and 248mph in 29 seconds, and onwards to a top speed of 268mph!
There’s also a lightweight track configuration that is 32kg lighter than the existing setup and creates 790kg of downforce at 155mph, but tops out at 236mph.
Czinger is still keeping interior specs close to their chest but confirmed a tandem two-seat configuration similar to the Yamaha OX99-11.
